In 1998 That Other Book Store and the Recovery Store became The BOOK ROOM  after these two prominent entities in the GTA Recovery community went out of business.

We were invited to purchase the stock as we had the space and I had the experience: I am a Librarian and had read a lot of the books in stock. I am a lover of things in print and could not imagine all these wonderful books being destroyed or abandoned!

So needless to say here we are all these years later still plugging away to carry the message to any and all, that there is a way to recover from our devastating diseases of addictions.

Our list of titles has grown along with the other goodies that have become a part of people’s recovery.

We attend quite a few conferences and round-ups all over Ontario to set up our wares and let a lot of interested people know the extent that recovery IS POSSIBLE! Check the calendar to see where we are!
